To the left is a surface map from this morning. The high pressure to our west is providing for the sunshine and cold air yesterday and today. The high will continue to move south during the next 24 hours. Tomorrow an Alberta Clipper will be rapidly moving southeast. It will bring snow and a lot of wind with it as is moves across the Midwest on Friday and Saturday. The snow amounts at this point appear to be light (around 1").
The map to the right shows the forecast path of the storm system. The map below shows where the best chance of the snow to accumulate. It indicates the low percent chance (10%) the amount of snow to be at least 4".
