Surface Map at 4:00 AM...Not a whole lot has changed on the weather map when it comes to surface features (front, highs and lows). The low in Nebraska will slowly move northeast and dissipate.
Radar image at 8:17 AM...The widespread heavier rain is located along the Mississippi River and moving northeast with scattered light showers around the rest of the state.
NAM 48 hr Forecast for 7 PM Sat...As one area of low pressure disappears over Iowa today another one in Texas develops and moves northeast. The low is forecasted to enter southwestern Iowa by 7 PM Saturday. Showers and thunderstorms are likely for most of Saturday. 
QPF forecast for 7 AM Fri - 7 AM Sun... The low previously mentioned low will bring heavy rain from Texas north with the potential for 2-4".
Flood and Flash Flood Watches...Because of the heavy rain expected numerous watches have been posted for area of Minnesota south to Texas for the potential of flooding.
