Satellite at 9:45 AM

Not a whole lot to talk about this satellite photo. There are some clouds to our northeast and to our southwest. Sunshine will dominate much of the Midwest today.

Water Vapor and 500 mb (this AM)

There is an area of low pressure in the upper levels of the atmosphere over Wisconsin producing some clouds and showers. There is another area of low pressure in the upper levels over eastern Colorado and western Kansas. This low is also stirring up clouds and showers. Both of these will miss Iowa as they move east.

Rainfall Forecast 7AM Wed - 7AM Fri

The active weather for the next few days will east of a line from Texas to Maine with showers and thunderstorms.
