The morning surface map (above left) has an area of high pressure located over southeast Iowa. We had a beautiful start to our last full day of spring with sunshine (above right), low humidity, comfortable temperatures and little or no wind. Our weather has the potential to be pretty wet through early Saturday morning. Below is rainfall forecast from 7AM today through 7AM Saturday. Notice the band of heavy rain possible across Iowa. This doesn't mean that everyone will get this amount of rain but the potential is there for this amount to occur in places.
