Sun's Path Changes with the Season

The path of the sun in the sky changes during the year due to the 23.5 degree tilt of the earth's axis. The sun rises in the East and sets in the West on the first days of spring and fall. But in the summer, it rises in the NE and sets in the NW; in winter it rises in the SE and sets in the SW. The variation in the sun's path is why the hours of daylight and night time change throughout the year.
