What Were They Thinking?

Are you kidding me!!! I saw this picture and thought are you crazy? I can't believe someone would try this.....AMAZING. What was this person thinking. I have mentioned over and over when flooding is in the news. DO NOT TRAVEL ACROSS A FLOODED ROADWAY!!!! If you did know yet...the car did stall and the person had to be rescued. There is a campaign by the National Weather Service to prevent the above from happening. Turn Around and Don't Drown.

Flood Potential

The rivers will be watched closely this week. Some of the ground is still frozen and snow continues to melt across Iowa and Minnesota this week. There is also the threat for thunderstorms which could make rivers rise. Click here for river information from the North Central River Forecast Center.
