Above is the first of two chances of precipitation during the next seven days. The top left map doesn't show very much upper level support for showers. The top right map indicates the better chance of rain will be to our south in Missouri toward Texas/Arkansas border.
Second Chance (Sunday Evening)
The above left map shows better upper level support for precipitation. The yellow/orange shading indicates vorticity. Where there is shading is where there is more lift in the atmosphere. When there is more lift (rising motion) the better chance of precipitation. The top right shows more moisture available for Sunday than on Friday.
